9/11 in Remembrance

February 27, 2002

Dear Friend,

There are no words that can express my gratitude for your assistance during my family’s tragedy. You have sheltered, fed and supported us. We have been able to remain in our home and not become another homeless family.

I would like to share with you that my husband was able to save many of his co-workers and others on different floors. I have been honored with their e-mails explaining their gratefulness for his actions on September 11th. My husband was a Navy Sealman and no doubt his training was a factor for his actions that day. He was Superintendent of Construction for the Port Authority. He knew his way around the buildings like the back of his hand. He used that knowledge to save many.

It has given me some peace he is in the prayers of so many. I loved, love and will always love and be so proud of my husband.

With all my heart. Thank you.
