Events

Housing for All Symposium Set for July 18-19
NAR is hosting an event to address homelessness and housing affordability on July 18 and 19 in Washington, D.C. The Housing for All Symposium will feature officials from HUD and groups including Enterprise Community Partners and NeighborWorks America.

NAR in Running for Inman Awards
NAR is a finalist in the Most Innovative Marketing Campaign category of the 2016 Inman Innovator Awards. NAR was also nominated for the Most Innovative MLS or Association award, for its REALTORS® Property Resource online real estate database.

Call For Action on Condo Financing
If you haven’t already, join the tens of thousands of REALTORS® who have responded to NAR’s Call for Action on FHA-insured condo financing. It just takes a visit to the REALTOR® Action Center to send a message urging senators to vote for legislation supported by NAR that would make it easier to buy a condo. The bill, S. 3083, would also streamline rural housing programs and is virtually identical to H.R. 3700, which the House passed unanimously in February. Also, NAR has sent a separate Call for Action to two targeted groups consumers, including condo owners who have participated in past NAR Calls for Action.

Honor Your REALTOR® of the Year
State AEs: Submit information using the online submission form on your state's REALTOR® of the Year Award recipient for recognition at the 2016 REALTORS® Conference & Expo in Orlando.

July 15 is Deadline for Commercial Leadership Day
Space is limited for Commercial Leadership Development Day in Chicago August 21. The day-long event is open to AEs, their presidents-elect, commercial structure chairs- and presidents-elect, and commercial structure staff. Attendance earns you six hours toward your annual Professional Development Core Standard requirement. RSVP by July 15 by sending an email to svarner@realtors.org
