Register for REALTORS® Conference in Orlando
Encourage your members to register for the 2016 REALTORS® Conference & Expo, November 4-7 in Orlando, Fla. It’s the place for them to take their business to the next level, featuring 100 education sessions, 400 exhibitors at the largest industry trade show, and 19,000 REALTORS® and guests to network and share ideas with.

Good Neighbor Deadline Nears
May 13 is the deadline to nominate a member for the Good Neighbor Awards.

Applications for 2017 Committees Due May 23
Remind your members that the deadline to submit applications for committee service in 2017 is May 23. Members may submit up to five applications and receive up to five endorsements per application. Details.

2017 AE Institute: Call for Speaker Presentations
If you're interested in speaking at the 2017 AE Institute in Denver, March 17-20, or have a qualified member who is, visit the 2017 call-for-presentations page to learn about the application process and to fill out a proposal form. Webcast About Reverse Mortgages
NNAR presented a live webcast on April 21 that focused on the rules that apply when a home that has a reverse mortgage is put up for sale. Guests included a reverse mortgage servicing specialist and a top official of the National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association. Share link to recording.

Broker Summit: Space Limited
Encourage your members to register for the 2016 REALTOR® Broker Summit, June 9-10. Info on keynote speaker Adam Savage, motivational speaker Mary Lou Retton, and other program offerings are at REALTOR.org. 

More Efficient Path to Green Designation
Your members need two classes rather than three to obtain NAR’s Green designation under program changes, and the classes are revamped to provide foundational knowledge on the first day and practical tips on the second. Online courses are $149 each or two for $250.

Land 101 Offered as Independent Study
The REALTORS® Land Institute is offering Land 101: Fundamentals of Land Brokerage as an online independent study. Price is discounted.

How Mapping Enhances Property Marketing
A REALTORS® Land Institute course focuses on mapping technology for land sales.

Commercial Leadership Workshop on August 21
Save the date. NAR is hosting a Commercial Leadership Workshop on August 21 in Chicago. It will be a full day of updates, networking, and education for AEs, staff, and incoming 2017 leadership of commercial overlay boards and structures.

Discount for Online Ward Center Classes
CCIM Institute is offering members a 15 percent discount on online courses offered by the Ward Center for Real Estate Studies. The discount is for May and June. Video: Wire Fraud Alert for Buyers
NAR has released a video that warns home buyers not to follow instructions to wire funds that arrive by email in order to avoid being scammed.

The Kennebec Valley (Maine) Board of REALTORS® collected 20 backpacks filled with school supplies for their local Boys & Girls Club (BGCA) of America last month, and it plans to do another back-to-school drive for kids in June.
